Michael Jackson, PhD, CRC, LPCC, CESP
Executive Director
Michael started Catapult Independence Associates, Ltd. (formerly Pathways Employment Services of Wisconsin, Ltd.) in 2015. With over twenty years of experience in the field, Michael has worked with hundreds of consumers in various employment support capacities. Michael strives to implement effective strategies to help organizational growth and offer a variety of opportunities for the disability population to connect with their communities. He continues to support professionals and consumers alike to meet their goals and ensure the best possible opportunities for all to grow and achieve greatness each day.
Michael graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Counselor Education. Michael maintains a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor status with the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification and a Certified Employment Support Professional Certification with the Association of People Supporting Employment First. Michael is also a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado, providing disability adjustment and career counseling support.
Barb Dickmann
Executive Assistant
Barb has been with Catapult Independence Associates for several years, bringing an array of knowledge and expertise to the organization.
She is considered a leader in the field. Barb works extensively with Managed Care Organizations, state service providers and counselors alike.
Nicole Damiano, MS, CRC, CVE
Vocational Consultant
Nicole joined Catapult Independence Associates in 2025 as a Vocational Consultant. She has over 10 years of experience in rehabilitation counseling, providing support to individuals with disabilities across educational, residential, and vocational settings. Nicole holds current certifications as a Rehabilitation Counselor, Vocational Evaluation Specialist, Private Vocational Consultant, and Assistive Technology Specialist.
As a Vocational Consultant, Nicole is dedicated to providing comprehensive analyses of the vocational impact of workplace injuries. Her previous experience as a Job Developer and Assistive Technology Specialist gives her valuable insights into labor markets, workplace accommodations, and training programs.
Brodie Conklyn
Employment Consultant
Brodie joined Catapult Independence Associates in 2023. He is currently pursing a psychology degree. Brodie has a passion for assisting the disability population in reaching their individual respective goals for success.
Scott White
Employment Consultant
Scott joined the Catapult Independence Associates team in 2024 and is working on his Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Scott brings a wealth of knowledge to the role and works to advocate for all those he supports in the field.
Erin Booth-O'Rear
Long Term Support Specialist
Erin has been with Catapult Independence Associates since 2018 and helps support our consumers receiving long term support services. Erin has over twenty years of human services experience ranging from direct care to adults and children with disabilities, to managing juvenile detention. When supporting consumers, Erin works to match each person to opportunities that resonate with their passion. Erin prides herself in going the extra mile to advocate for her consumers with her unique and tailored approach.
